Mission Statement
Skyway House provides a safe, loving and structured environment for those seeking substance abuse treatment. Our goal is to open the door to a new way of life, bringing together individuals, families, and communities.
Established in 1993, Skyway House has been serving the North State for many years. Skyway House offers evidence based multifaceted social model drug and alcohol treatment programs. We offer a continuum of care which includes residential, residential with children, adult and adolescent outpatient, court ordered programs and alcohol and drug free housing throughout the North State. Our residential and outpatient programs are licensed and certified by the State of California.
Our treatment programs offer a variety of treatment services depending on the needs of the client. The counselors and staff members of Skyway House are qualified and compassionate. We strive to help guide clients through their journey of recovery. We work closely with each individual's family and community agencies to ensure that they receive the help they need and give them the tools and support systems necessary to remain clean and sober after treatment.
In addition to individual case management, clients receive education in parenting skills, nutrition, drug addiction, anger management, re-entry and relapse prevention, HIV/AIDs and Hepatitis-C awareness, life skills and so much more.
Tommy Higgins, Founder, started Skyway House in 1993 with a key to an abandoned house, six men and a dream that they too could stay clean and find a new way to live as he had done, three of these men remain clean and sober today.
