Welcome to NorthStar Engineering

NorthStar Engineering is a multi-disciplinary engineering, land surveying, and environmental firm specializing in municipal infrastructure design, land development, onsite waste water systems, land surveying, environmental consulting, planning and development permit processing, and building design. 

NorthStar Engineering has been established in Chico, California since 1983.  We have a staff of 29 including land surveyors, civil engineers, environmental planners, biologists, technicians, 9 LEED accredited professionals, and administrative personnel.  Our engineers and suveyors are licensed in California, Oregon, and Nevada allowing us to assist our clients with projects in neighboring states.  Company principals have an average of 20 years in design and project management experience on projects throughout Northern California.

In 2009, NorthStar Engineering merged with Gallaway Consulting, a premier Environmental Consulting & Natural Resource Management firm.  The merging of these two companies allows NorthStar Engineering to provide a complete "turn-key" solution to both public agencies and private development clients.
